Meadowlands Winter Survival Challenge Now Open.

Enter your picks now for the new Meadowlands Winter Survival Challenge before 6:30pm Thursday 01/01/2009.
THE CHALLENGE begins Thursday, January 1, 2009, and concludes when the last Meadowlands live race is official on Sunday, March 29, 2009. THE CHALLENGE scoring is based on pari-mutuel information as supplied by the USTA. Your race selections must be made no less than thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the first race. Wednesday-Saturday post time 7:00 p.m., Sundays & Monday, February 16 post time 1:10 p.m. REMEMBER,

YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR SELECTIONS AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO THIRTY (30) MINUTES TO FIRST POST.

In the event of a tie for the highest accumulated pari-mutuel total (bankroll), the player selecting the most first place finishers will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie in the most WINNERS category, the player with the highest accumulated pari-mutuel total will be declared the winner. In the unlikely event of a tie in the most WINNERS category also achieving a tie in the highest accumulated pari-mutuel total, a random drawing will be held to determine the winner. Players may access a daily leader board listing each participant’s current standings and race selections after close of entries. Winners will be notified by email.

ELIGIBILITY


CHALLENGE participants must agree to abide by THE CHALLENGE official rules, be 18 years or older at time of entry, possess a valid email address, and be a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada.
No purchase or payment is required to enter or play. One entry per person. Persons who submit more than one email registration will be disqualified and will not be eligible to win prizes.
Employees of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA) and members of their immediate families, any individuals residing in jurisdictions where participation in THE CHALLENGE is prohibited by law, and any individual prohibited by law from participating in THE CHALLENGE, are ineligible to participate.

1. Highest total bankroll based on pari-mutuel payouts from a $2.00 “Across the Board” wager ($2.00 to win, place and show) on your race selection
Grand Prize - $2,000 and entry into the 2009 National Harness Handicapping Championship at the Meadowlands on Saturday, April 25, 2009 (includes airfare and hotel stay)
