Sunday plays host to the $100,000 Lazaro S. Barrera S. (G3) for three-year-old sprinters, while the Memorial Day feature is the $250,000 Shoemaker Mile S. (G1), which is likely the next spot picked out for the mega-talented Ventura from the barn of Bobby Frankel.

The $200,000 American 1000 Guineas S. has attracted eight sophomore fillies, led by 5-2 morning-line choice Consequence. The $600,000 Met Mile H. (G1) will be contested on Monday at Belmont Park in what appears to be one of the best betting races one could ever hope for. This talented and evenly-matched group has a bit of everything and seemingly any horse could cross the wire first. Among the stellar cast are multiple Grade 2 hero Smooth Air, recent Westchester H. (G3) winner Bribon, Churchill Downs H. (G2) top two finishers Accredit and My Pal Charlie, Grade 1 turf winner Mr. Sidney and the blazing three-year-old Mr. Fantasy.
Saturday's main attraction at Belmont is the $150,000 Sheepshead Bay S. (G2) over 11 furlongs on the green, followed by the $150,000 Vagrancy H. (G2) on Sunday for sprinting fillies and mares.
