A field of 7 race horses headed by the Preakness winner filly Rachel Alexandra will run in Sunday’s $1.25-million Haskell Invitational 2009 on August 2 at Monmouth Park.
The Haskell entries with jockeys, weight and morning line odds in post position order:
1.Duke of Mischief under jockey Eibar Coa with morning line odds of 15-1
2.Summer Bird under jockey Kent Desormeaux, 7-2
3.Papa Clem under jockey Elvis Trujillo, 12-1
4.Munnings under jockey John Velazquez, 3-1
5.Atomic Rain under jockey Joe Bravo, 10-1
6.Rachel Alexandra under jockey Calvin Borel, 4-5
7.Bunker Hill Kendrick Carmouche, 30-1
The Haskell Invitational is race 13 in Monmouth’s August 2 card. 2009 Haskell post time is 6:15 Eastern.
Look for Rachel Alexandra to beat the boys again.

I have to agree, Rachel Alexandra just eats up that track and leaves the rest of them to eat her dust. Those boys need to learn a little respect when in the presence of a lady.
