Mark your calendars – Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Haskell winner Big Brown’s return to Monmouth Park is less than a week away.
Join us Saturday, September 13 for the inaugural running of the Monmouth Stakes at 1-1/8 miles on the turf featuring the best three-year-old in the land, Big Brown.
In addition to seeing his final race prior to the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic, all paying fans receive a long sleeved T-shirt, while supply lasts, commemorating Big Brown in his return to the Jersey Shore.

Among those expected to face the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and Preakness (gr. I) winner in the Monmouth Stakes are Kiss the Kid, Proudinsky, Hotstufanthensone, Shakis, and Get Serious. Silver Tree, Shake the Bank, Ballonenostrikes and Victory Alleged are possibilities. The $200,000 purse will increase to $500,000 if Big Brown goes to post.
